Machida Yakushi pond park Shikisai of Du Yakushi pond

It is a park representative of Machida city which was selected as "100 Historical Park of Japan" in 2007.

Yakushi Pond was designated as “New Tokyo Hundred Scenery” in 1982, “Tokyo Designated Tourist Spot” in 1998. In 2007, it was named “Japan’s 100 Historical Park” as a representative of Machida City. In the center of the park there are ponds to entertain the seasons, such as plums, camellia, cherry blossoms, gourd, lotus Oga, fresh green, autumn leaves.
